Getting out of a safe

Postby jonathonbryce » 17 Oct 2008 12:58

Greetings, I am looking for any and all information on escaping from a safe that I have been locked into. I am an escape artist and I'm currently looking into doing a safe escape in my show and would like as much information that I can get a hold of. I know that there are all sorts of ways of getting into a safe such as Try-out combos...which I think would be neat to have as well, but I'm more interisted in getting out from the inside.

Thanks in advance.

do you know what type (brand/model) safe you have to escape out off? depending on what safe you I think you might be best off disengaging what ever locks it from the outside by removing the locking bolt and rig something up on the inside so you can lock and unlock the safe while you are inside.

Enjoy being locked in a safe because they're considered advanced forum topics here, at least the extraction and escaping from is.......if you need a pilot hole or something like a straw pushed through, let us know, enjoy!

As Lunchbox said, you have to gaffe the lock. These things are not made for any sort of operation from the inside, with the exception of some bank vaults, and even there, its not easy. Can you build a secret door on the top or bottom?

I, for one, am very glad to hear that modern-day safes come with such amenities as internet access... god knows what else I'd do with my time if it were me that was locked in a safe!
