can anybody out there pick lockwoods

Me and my friend have started picking locks and we are getting stuck with big lockwoods. I dont have a clue why they don't open. I havent actually got one but someone brought one on the bus and it didnt open. We have made a good set of about ten picks each and they seem to be able to open other locks just fine. Why dont lockwoods open???

you need to lean your head to the right

Many Lockwood keyways are very restrictive - you need small picks to manipulate the pins. Plus if you have a commercial Lockwood cylinder it could be six or seven pins. Keep practicing!

most lockwood cylinders from the factory are 5 pin but they can be ordered to 6 pin, the keyway (silca LW4 and LW5) can be hard to pick with normal picks, slimline ones make it a lot easier.

dont forget that if he's in Australia its to the left, their upside down over there
