i've locked my key's in my house several times before and i want to know what is a good pick set to get in.

1. Get a spare key cut.
2. Purchase a length of string approx. 24" long.
3. Insert one end of string through hole in key bow.
4. Grip ends of string and tie in an overhand knot.
5. Loop string over head.
Image If it ain't broke.....pull it down and see how it works anyway!

poker4life0588,

We don't know much about your particular front door lock.... perhaps you could tell us what kind of lock it is and what brand name is stamped upon it or stamped into that pesky key of yours.

...to avoid the "Read the MIT guide!" answer you'll get next... consider searching the forum rules / announcement sections for this guide as any question you ask that is addressed in it will just get you pointed to it.

...it... by the way... answers your first question.

if this happens often than why not carry a spare in your wallet or put one in your yard that nobody would figure out where its at.
