The SV 114 P+C is a nice tool and comes with a good set of instructions if you get a good impression after breaking the curtain then you will not go far wrong however if you get a few slightly bent pins whilst practising with the tool this will prevent the pin and cam feature from working correctly and will throw you out.
I have never owned the staddon pick but have seen demos on it and it looks quite good I would wait until you get a chance to see both tools in action before you part with your cash the SV tool is not much use on the E series as levers from different groups give the same marks on the impression although I am sure there would be a way from pure feedback from the leveras via the tool.
