Lockpickshop
Southord

Ideally you'll be wanting the ones with metal handles as well, the thin ones without can become a little uncomfortable after extended use and also the extra rigidity of the handles improves feedback in my opinion.

If you want to order individual picks you can do that, really all you need is a small half diamond and a couple of hooks, say a medium and short hook. After that it is all about the tension wrenches, you can never have too many of those however they are easier to make to measure as you go out of bits and pieces than picks are.

Good luck :)

I bought my set off devonlocks
Arrived within a few days, can't complain.
And their prices might be a bit more competitive
considering you don't need to ship from overseas.

stay with the southord set, the metal used is quite good, the finish is not to bad, there are more expensive makes out there but for a starter set then southord are quite good for the price, dont buy any of these klom, goso types, although they are cheap, some of them are quite thick and struggle to fit UK keyways, i suppose they are fine as a starter set but you will soon wish you had saved that extra few quid and got the southord.

The southords are alright, but just make sure you go easy on the tension, otherwise they might start to bend, like one of mine have.
