Having built something similar, I can see the market for it. Of course, I now have enough bits to keep me entertained for a while so I'm not as tempted. Haven't bought anything from them, but other people seem happy enough.

learnlockpicking sells just a bag of security pins for for their ultimate lock pick practice cylinder... maybe one of those pins would fit your cores?

I don't think that's a very good price, considering how easy and cheap it is to roll your own similar package. Consider:

2 Kwikset and 2 Schlage cylinders from ReStore: $1 each at the very most (more likely $2 for the lot).
Extra pins (buy a few extra cylinders).
Scrap wood to build a pick board (probably free).
Picks (make your own or get the Southord set for around $15).

Cutaways are not difficult to make. My first two attempts look like crap, but they work, and were way easier than I thought they'd be.

I suck at about anything I must say. I'm not even able to open a lock with the key, let alone lockpicks.

I doubt I could get a lock out of its box by myself. And locksmiths here at 120$++ per hour, so it would cost me more for that.
I'm ready to pay the premium I have to pay for all these.

I understand your point, but... why not buying stuff in OUR B-S-T area? At least you're giving some extra money to our members and not to unknown people.
