Best lock question

hi i have a question about this lock
i picked this lock to the control line is 7 pins,but don't have the key
i do have another 7 pins best lock with the keys and i am
wondering if i can re-key this lock with the key i have from the other
lock i would like to use same key for boths locks,but don't know if i will
be able to do so,i re-key other locks before
but not this best locks any info if i can re-key this lock
will be appreciated thanks.

BEST takes a special pin kit and are a lot more complicated to rekey, there is a formula that must be used to figure out the pinning.

If the keys you have will fit in both locks , then it is possible. As mentioned by another poster, Best style SFIC ( small format interchangable core) require a different pin kit and different rules to pinning than standard cylinders.
There is a locksmith in California that will rekey that lock using your keys, mail order for $12 -$15 per lock

sorry forgot to mention the keyway for boths lock
is J keyway
so they use same keyway thanks.

I can pin that for you but I will not give you the core key that works that core, it will be a new core key. That could be part of a system that I would not unwittingly want to compromise. PM me.
