i'm using a twistflex i've tried using a stronger tension bar, but to no avail really, i thought it might be somesort of security pin i dont know about or something wierd. .. Anyone picked this before?
You need to try either more or less tension. I'd start with a light feather tension wrench and work your way up to something serious.
If it has serrated pins, or spool pins your going to have to use light tension, and feel it false set, then just push harder to get the pin to set all the way into position. You should be able to feel when the tension is not longer on that pin, and is instead on another. Just work your way through each of them, and you should be able to open this lock.
If you can disassemble the lock to take a look at what is in there it would help.
Chubb usually makes pretty good locks, I would guess that is the hang up As far as tension, use a pick to raise all the pin stacks as high as possible and apply extreme tension. If they get stuck there it is too much, if they all drop, it is not enough. Expirement until you find proper tension.
