Schlage Depth and Space Question

Postby mattman » 6 Jun 2009 18:27

A friend of mine gave me a free box of Schlage 35-101 468 key blanks that he got at an auction. I noticed that these blanks and the SC4 blanks look exactly alike (width and length), except they have a different keyway.

My question is does anyone know if my set of depth and space keys that I have for SC4 would work for these blanks, or do they have different depths and spacing? I've tried to look for information online, but couldn't find any. Thanks!

Yes they use the same spaces and depths as the 5 or 6 pin C.
The number you gave doesn't sound correct ... 35-101 1468 might be what you have. 1468 is a very odd keyway I believe only available on Factory installed master key systems.
Schalge has a few of the Numbered keyways available for " general use" it maybe possible that is what you have.

Thanks, Keysman. It looks like I may have a box of key blanks that I may never use. LOL! At least I didn't pay for them. :D
