pinning tray

Postby _RAGNAR_ » 23 Aug 2009 10:24

Can anyone suggest some simple, small pinning trays?

I have found some full mats and a wooden tray but not the small rubber-ish ones I have used before.

Thanks in advance

LAB makes one but it may be too large by the sound of what you are wanting. The LAB mat I have is about 11"x17" or thereabout.
For the best book out there on high security locks and their operation, take a look at amazon.com for High-Security Mechanical Locks An Encyclopedic Reference. Written by our very own site member Greyman! A true 5 Star read!!

Ah, fair enough. There is a fellow from MIT who produces very nice, compact aluminum pinning trays. Not sure if he's on these forums, but I could put you in touch if you like.

I was planning to get a lab mat for home, I was looking for something small that I could use on site, sitting on the floor or whatever and keep track of stuff in a very organized manner without any chances of confusion.

That would be nice. I've used a very simple small black plastic/rubber one before but don't know where to get one. Rubber would be kind of nice just as things would kind of "stick" to it.

thanks again.

I like that LAB mat that was on their website. But alas I am not a certified professional, nor am I going to spend $1000 yearly at some of the distributors businesses. SO my quesion is how do I get one?
