Picking with grips

Hey,

My lock pick set came with a set of rubber grips to put on the handles; for comfort I guess. I have never used them. What is the feeling of the expert lock pickers on grips. Is it strongly unfavorable? Do the grips not allow you to feel what is happening in the lock as well?

I'm not a pro, or have I ever used real picks... But I'll give you very good advice.


You will never know until you try them both, which ever is easyer and more comfortable for you... is obviously better.


Personally I'm going with a one piece of metal type thing because i like the looks and they are like 2 bucks each.

Don't need a government edition pick set that costs 500 dollars or more.. Just a waste of money for somebody who doesn't lock pick for a living.

my Prognosis would be,try it out but pay close attention to feed back.

most rubber handles are terrible for feed back but there have been a few good ones (petersons for 1)

also i feel the fact that yours wouldnt be attached to the metal would mess with feedback but agin, just see how you like em

Those rubber grips are terrible if you ask me, you can't feel a damb thing, take your new picks and get all the burrs and rough edges off of the handles and you will be fine without them.

I will say petersons rubber grips are been givin me good feed back
that's my personal experience,i can't complaints about this rubber grips.
