the icl curtainn pick is the one with the collar tio hold your wire in the groove right?
these are over-engineered in all honesty your better with a cheaper open top one to give you a bit of movement with your wires, helps maneuvering through low sitting levers.
if your new to curtain picking start off with cheap 5 levers that use no antipick notches: ie: union non BS 5 lever, elis 5 lever.
once youve mastered those you can tyy locks with few or weak anti-picks: eurospec BS usually only have one antipick lever which is a good start to identifying a lever in a false gate,
then id move on to something like an old legge BS, these have many false gates but can easilly be lifted out into the real one providing you dont overlift any of the levers.
once youve mastered those your ready for the harder stuff.
experiment with different shaped wires, it makes a lot of difference depending on the lock... il save that info for when i get access to the advanced room
