The difference of a shlage

What makes picking a shlage harder than the quickset? Is it just the fact that you don't have as much pickspace? Also what is a good technique for picking a shlage? My pick keeps falling in the bottom so i can't pick it.

The typical Schlage is more difficult due to the better machining tolerances. Also, better quality materials.

Add any sort of security tumbler, and you get a more difficult lock.

I'm not trying to be weird or anything, just for your information its kwikset, not quickset. dunno why.
