you can also copy the key you have and keep the control key back from any use you have for it so when your neighbor borrows the key no slipups happen.
looks like the individual key can just be slotted to make this control key and it probably doesnt matter how carefully you shape the cut as long as its big enough to pass a ward is my guess.
