Hello I'm trying to understand where I might find answers to these questions on a job application. Can anyone help? I am applying for a locksmith apprentice position with no experience required, but I would like to sound like I have done some of my homework. I really don't know too much about locksmith or locks, but was hoping someone may have an idea of where I can find answers. Here is a section from my application.
True or False: Picking the Ace High Security Lock is harder than picking the Medeco High Security Lock.
True or False: You are more likely to find Mushroom Tumblers in a Corbin Lock than a Schlage.
True or False: There are more six pin locks on the market than five
In terms of quality and ease in servicing, list the top four lock manufacturers on the market.

I wouldn't consider Weslock and Kwikset "quality" locks. I would go with Yale, Schlage, Corbin, Best perhaps?

The only thing I disagree with is the manipulation question. I'd say feel, but that includes sight, because you do need to see the numbers to mark them down. And sound does help, you can't just neglect that area of sense, because its a combination of all three that allows one to gain access. Its the same with picking your front door. Although, admittedly, I'm sure a fair number of us on this forum would be able to pick in the dark.
