Removal of a mortise lock cylinder

I have a door that looks a lot like the ML2000 (http://www.corbinrusswin.com/pages/MDO_homepage.html). Is there anything special I would need to switch out the lock cylinders? I recently got a couple and wanted to try them out.

What do you mean by "switch out the lock cylinders"?
Do you just want to put in different cylinders?
Then yes you can.
They are a standard Mortise Cylinder.
Probably 1 1/8" length.
Large type of cam, where as a mortise cylinder for an aluminum/glass store front door will have small cams.
The cams can usually be swapped over.

I understand that I can, that's what I plan to do. I just wanted to know if there was anything special to it.

If it's just the lock cylinder I bet you can do it with just a standard screwdriver set or at most some kind of allen or torx key. I've worked on similar mortise lock sets like this one made by schlage and all I remember using on those were with a regular sized phillips head screwdriver to remove the face plate and loosen the set screw.

Yep, I got it. I took the bolt plate off and there was a small phillips head screw you removed. Then I unscrewed the cylinder with a screwdriver. Much thanks!
