Help me with my lock!

Postby Rhys » 2 Feb 2010 17:02

Well I'm new here, obviously but... I came here for help actually. While I have picked some various locks I am way out of my league here... and from what I've read most are when it comes to this lock in particular... I recently moved into a new home and it has a floor safe in the bathroom. It's a Star brand... which has apparently been sold to Amsec(? not sure) Problem is, my serial number is one that was apparently one of the records lost in a fire the company had -_-. I spoke with the man who owned the house and they lost the combination to the safe... says he can't remember it. I doubt there's anything in it but I have some things I'd like to use it for I'm sure you can understand and I'd rather not call a locksmith... does anyone know a possible way to get this safe open? I've looked everywhere and everything I've tried failed. (not to mention it seems some owners of this brand of safe have trouble opening it WITH the combination) so... there ya go...

yeah safe stuff is advanced, so your best bet is to call a local locksmith.

while we are on safe cracking i got one in my backroom it is really dark in there so i cant take a picture. i dont want to call a locksmith cause i have traffic warrants and i dont want him to report me. plus there is a puppy trapped inside it. you have to tell me how to crack it or he will die, you dont want that on your concience do you? also i have to do it quietly so i dont get caught, i mean wake the neighbors.

The MODS are going to come down on me for this, because it really should be in ADVANCED FORUM, but can't just stand by!

Here is the process for getting your safe open - just don't tell anyone you got it from me:

Stand back from your safe at least 10 feet while doing the following:

Turn on the light

Locate the SECRET CODE_BOOK for your area

This CODE_BOOK has many sections in it, you are only interested in the section that deals with SAFE_OPENING

Run your finger down the page until you have Found the SECRET_SEVEN (7) digit CODE - you will know it when you see it.

Punch this SEVEN (7) digit CODE into your communications device - point it at YOUR SAFE and press SEND

Hold the speaker part of your communications device up to your ear and wait. When the Secret Agent answers your urgent call you give him your address tell them to send help.

The Agent comes, does his thing, PRESTO you are SAFE!
The safe is open and everyone is happy.

This Secret Agent is a Locksmith/Safesmith and he can open your bathroom safe for a whole lot less money then it would cost you to have one installed.

Yes, you can pick a lock. You can put on a band-aid too, but would you do your own surgery?

fail.

Is it just me, or has there recently been a rash of new home owners who just "happen" to have a locked floor safe, who also just "happen" to "stumble" upon this site and ask (basically) the same question?
