What is a Curtis clipper "G" and "E"?

Postby michaelspaz » 7 Feb 2010 0:37

Was reading through the buy and sell posts on this site and notice that someone listed: a Curtis clippers "G" and "E" and carriages.

I'm wondering If someone could explain what these are and what their utility is? I have not come across this type of hardware before.

Here is a link to the post so people can look at pictures of the item.

in my very limited experience it looks like a hand held manual key cutter. but thats just my thought.

Indeed, the Curtis Clipper is a modular manual key cutter system.

They can, depending on setup, cut a wide veriety of commercial, residential and auto keys, plus more.

I'm not a Clipper expert. So I'll yield to others who can offer greater knowledge and expertise.

However I hope I have answered the OPs question.
