What kind of lock mechanism is this?

I found this at work today.. I've never seen a lock that you can pop open by simply spinning the bolt.

I've always seen (even in-house locks) that require some sort of pushing/turning to pop the lock open again.

What is this called, and what does it look like inside if you have a pic possibly?

Those are interior locks, and not really locks. More like bathroom and bedroom "locks."

It is a "privacy lock" meant to allow someone privacy in a bathroom or other space without locking out everyone on the outside if something went wrong...

Perfect! :)

I didn't know the name of these locks, I found a diagram off Google :)

Thanks!

I may be wrong but it looks similar to a Schlage wafer lock. Again I'm probably wrong.
If a lock is a puzzle, then its key is the complete picture
