Mate, this forum is about hobby lockpicking, either keep your locksmith installation questions in the Locksmith Business area (which is also really a sub forum about locksmiths and how they run their businesses, not an area to train apprentices with many questions), or likewise, become an apprentice and learn this stuff on the job.

I know we also talk about things like Adams Rite locks and how to remove them from doors, or how to remove cylinders from the Adams Rite mechanisms, so some of these locksmith type questions are fine once in a while, but when it comes to posts like the best practices on how many sash locks to install, like I said, either ask in the Locksmith Business area, or make friends with a local locksmith and try to get them to mentor you and train you.

or... we need a new sub-forum for Locksmith Install questions, that is different than Locksmith Business (how much to charge for work, where to advertise, what kind of key machine do you own, where do you get Ingersoll 10 lever blanks) type questions.
