Weiser smart key lock not working

I put in my key and I tried putting in a new key while doing the process to rekey it and I thought I had a weiser key that was compatable but stupid me, I tried it too late so then it didn't work and then I put the old one back in which was working in the beginning I turned it all the way back 1/4 couter clock wise i think(i don't remember) and then I took it out and tried using it and it didn't work and now this lock doesn't work. Is there anyway to rekey it or open the assembly up with general tools I don't have any of these lockpicking tools or anything just needlenose pliers, other pliers screwdrivers etc. Any one know how I can rekey this?

If you've never disassembled this lock before or don't know how it works it will be much easier to call a locksmith or buy a new one. This lock is pretty complicated to re-assemble with many small pieces. More information on disassembly and pictures of all the internals are available here:

1. Remove the lock from your door.

2. Bring it to Home Depot or Lowe's and ask them to use the "reset cradle" on it.

3. Program it to whatever new key you're trying to program it to, bring key with you.

4. Go home and install it in the door.
