Bypass tools

I'm a newbie here and i would like to find out if as a beginner, bypass tools should be part of a locksport enthusiast tool box. If so can someone recommend me some bypass tools.

I don't think anyone talks about bypass tools in the open forums, for a very obvious reason. Anyone interested in the hobby, is interested in opening the lock. Bypassing locks should only be useful for someone in the locksmithing trade. If you have any interest at all in learning locksport as a hobby, then don't bother with bypass tools. There are plenty of other things you could spend that money on to help you on your way. If you are mostly interested in only bypassing locks, then I think you are out of luck (as far as this site goes). I wouldn't even suggest buying padlock shims, most locks (even the cheaper masters) are now fairly resistant and if you ever find yourself needing one, they are not difficult to fashion out of a soda can.

Um... you pick it. They're not exactly hard. Unless you're talking about combination locks anyway, in which case you'll find info on bypassing/decoding those in the advanced section.
