Safe I.D.

hey everybody, i just found out my next door neighbour is throwing away a safe as he lost the key.

I'm looking for any helpful folks who can I.D. this thing for me, as i have no idea where to start. I am hoping this could be my first box to practice a bit of safe cracking on.

Also a much-needed a technique is required to people can move such a heavy lump of metal.lol

Its a George Price, Improved Patent safe.

But you knew that already, because its written on the front!

Probably weighs about 200Kg

Other than that, you'll need access to the advanced section for picking techniqures etc

however for moving it, think of the various programs on tv about building pyramids etc,

you'' need heavy timber to create a smooth path,you cant drag that on grass without a heavy payloader.

next you'll need some log rollers and levers to pry it up onto the rollers, and some slaves to move it.

haha Yeah i knew that.lol I was hoping for a year of manufacture or sumin along those lines... and i have advanced section access tho am just having problems moving the thing atm let alone getting into it.lol....who the hell invented stairs!!! :p

Here in the states you can rent safe jacks at just about any rental yard. They go under each side and strap around the safe with ratchet straps.

They look like this:

The ones I have rented had a lever rather than a hydraulic jack. The ones I rented were only like $30-40 USD a day.
