I have a Chubb Cruiser it is open but I have no key is it possible to make a key if I buy a blank any help would be welcome.

Secondly is there any where on the web to find out about the internals of this lock, animations, photos, etc.

Thanks

I hope this helps:

Here's a link for a key:

http://www.lockcentre.com/chubb-cruiser-p-1211.html

As far as the internals go, you can look up information on lever locks, the cruiser is a lever type lock with five lever mechanisms, to see how that type of lock functions.

Hopefully some of our members from the UK, or other members can help you more with that.

By the way I'm not saying this key will work your lock. This is just to give you an idea of what a lever lock key looks like. :)

Your only real option is to impression a key for it. Since it's in the open position you'll have an easier time since you don't have any false gates going from open to locked, but if you've got no experience with impressioning levers I'd advise you to take it to a locksmith. Or you could buy one of the decoders lol... but for just one lock that'd be a bit overkill as they're about 400 quid

They retailed for around £80 new last time I checked. Not cheap!

Id say its an impressioning job unless you know a locksmith with an endoscope and knowledge of the chubb levers used.
