Which picks should I buy for a typical door knob?

I am completely new to lock picking and would like to know which picks I would need to pick common door knobs, master locks (like the ones for school lockers), and a deadbolt lock.

I had the same feeling (sorry), but if he would ask the question without that side note we'd probably answer his question, so I didn't think it would hurt to supply him the regular accessible info...
