Southord Sale

Postby Exodus5000 » 2 Dec 2004 23:57

I got an e-mail from southord that they're having a christmas sale for their customers that have ordered their products in the past. I'm sure others on this site recieved the same e-mail.

The only thing I found that I would really want to invest in is the tubular picks they have on sale. It appears that they're selling the 7 and 8 pin picks together for a combined amount of $50? Can anyone confirm this?

*Note - it won't show the items on sale if you simply visit the site, you have to click the link that was e-mailed to you.

I got the same e-mail.. Too bad it's "only" SouthOrd picks.. I was thinking about buying that mini jiggler set.. Are they any good? They look so small that they may work on some normal pin locks..

Poisoned, mini jigglers seem pretty useful to me. They open a lot of cheap locks quickly. Theyr just nice to have around.

Despite the description if you just look at the model numbers you'll see whats up... It appears that you can't get the 8pin picks for the $50 sale... The only part number is:TPXA-7 which is normally $80... great deal

You might be able to get the 8pin tubular pick - If you change the URL from 7 to 8, and add that to your shopping cart, it appears to work. Maybe?

I was thinking of buying the 8pin (already have HPC's 'deluxe small bore' 7pin pick) but I've never actually seen an 8pin tubular lock. Most higher security tubulars must just have varying spring tensions.

Also Southord's plug spinner in the shape of a pen is for sale at a reasonably price. Can anyone comment on this?
