Best Books out there

Postby anthony7999 » 18 Feb 2012 23:40

I have a serious love for reading and lockpicking, so i am wanting to know what are some of the very best informative books out there. I have heard good things about Bill Phillips books and about LSS but wow for a price tag. Any info is much appreciated

Deviant Ollam's book is terrific. He not only describes picking and raking techniques, but gives detailed descriptions of the different types of picking tool and tensors that are currently in use.
the bonus CD that comes with the book is also very informative

You cannot learn in a book what you could learn by spending a month here on the forum talking to people, or even watching some of the youtube videos that have been made. Dev's book is an exception because it was written recently and covers all of the info from here and his talks and presentations at TOOOL lockpicking villages held during various conferences.

If you do want to take a walk down memory late, the MIT Guide to Lockpicking is good, as well as Locksport International Visual Guide PDF.
