Stubborn Lever Handle

I'm not sure if this is the right place for this but I thought I'd see if you guys/gals could help me out. I'm fairly competent with removing/installing locks and handles but this one has me stumped. I have no idea what the model number is or what brand it is. It is on a door from a building that was recently purchased. Here are a few pictures.

There are no screws and it's not immediately apparent as to how the casing comes off.
Any suggestions?

Yeah, it can be confusing if you've never put one together or taken one apart.

You unscrew the lugged nut using a special spanner. There should have also been two screws. You should tighten down the screws nice and tight, this helps loosen the nut which is serrated. Then remove the screws.

Reinstallation is to tighten the screws first, then tighten down the nut tight, then loosen the screws slightly. It is important that these locks have the same amount of handle sticking out on either side of the door for proper operation.

Obviously there is an inside and an outside to these locks, you should be working from the inside. If it is a passage lock it may be installed backwards in which case remove the other side for access to the screws.

You do not need to remove the lock in order to rekey it.

Gah! Another proprietary tool I'm going to have to build... A definite down side to business in a small town: I might only encounter one of these locks in years, so it's not worth buying the tool for it. I've tried picking the lock over and popping it out that way, but the sideways springs aren't giving me a thing for feedback, so I looked at going through the back and hit a wall.

Ah, well. I got into locksmithing because it's interesting, so that's my own dang fault!

Where are you? I probably have a few dozen laying around, one is yours for just the postage. You can back them off with a screwdriver though.
