I apologize in advance if i did this wrong, its my first attempt at posting pics. Has anyone used this type of keycutter before? A friend of mine gave it to me. Thanks.

I have exactly the same cutter And it works great. However with such a small motor you can't cut too fast on deep cuts. I now have two keil automatic machines they are old but work great.

Congratulations! These machines are great occasional key cutters. They are not designed for speed or commercial volume. This old one you have has a better motor than the similar model available today. Replacement file cutters are relatively cheap too.

I still have one available in an old typewriter case. It has two motors, one original 110volt and the other a 12volt I added. I used to carry it with a 12volt motorcycle battery to cut keys in large buildings when there was no power.
