How do u pick those locks that u have to leave the key in them
Mostly I've only seen master locks like that

Same way as any non key retaining lock. There is only a difference if you use the key, unless you get your pick stuck inside the lock.

In American Locks, such as models 1305 or 5200, there is no difference in the lock core between key-retaining and non-key-retaining. The difference is the actuator that sits at the other end of the core. Therefore, picking is the same because the cores are the same. This may or may not hold true for other makes and/or models.
