Distance Learning accepted by ALOA

I have a basic knowledge of lock picking and automotive lock out senarios. i have done some training through the Army but it is basic and I pratice when I can and help others in my career field do the same. I have be struggling with finding a course to choose. I am in this for the long haul and do not fall for fly ny night courses. I havealready purchased many books and some of which are used by schools ran in canada. What I want is a worth while training so i can futher instruct my EOD brethern as well and being ALOA certified. Please direct me and i know nothing beats actual work and On the Job training. I get plenty of time fixing locks and hand filing down copies of keys for our doors here. I have a family to take care of and I take training myself and my soldiers seriously. I will pay for what ever instuction i need but do not want to waste money either. Please help and share your stories with me. Also anthing I sign up for I hope that I can do while deployed! Thank you

accepted by ALOA????

ALOA is an organization dedicated to perpetuating themselves. They do offer certifications that are pretty much only recognized by ALOA. ( ie.themselves)

I have just finished reviewing the site and singed up for the trial membership, although I do not like using paypal I had to fiddle with those settings as well. Thank you for the post I like what I see and will continue to update for anyone with the same questions to help them out as well

We have been making a complete website re-work and the layout is now different. So some of the older links may not be working due to menu terms being changed etc. I apologize for any inconvenience.

Here is the new link for the ones KEYSMAN shared.

http://www.sopl.us/video-tutorials.html

If you find any links from here to there broken, just let me know. I think the new layout is easier to follow. We had some feedback from some folks who felt a few things needed clarity. We listened! :D

Good Luck on your trial period, if you need assistance just ask.

With the exception of the flow of the site I have had my emails answered much quicker than I have expected and already started the classes I will certainly be around for a long time on this site. Thank you for all the help and so far I can say I have been putting a lot of feelers out on ther sites even places for training and have not been pleased. SOPL you have hit a home run!!!

Which area do you feel needs improvement on the flow? Inside the STI portion or the main site? We listen and respond to input so let me know. The course and testing area takes a short learning curve but once you get it, then you are good. We are consolidating resources and trying to bring them all in one vessel. For now we do spread across a few different vessels, but it has worked well and cost effectively. To deploy all we have, their were a few concessions.

This site has fantastic content and images are first class. I would love to work with several images to use in our hot map quizzes. I won't use them without permission form the posters or the site but I can create a branded interactive quiz for LP101 and host it. It may be good advertisement for LP101 while providing good educational content. If this is possible, I am standing by and willing to do it.

Be well.

from the SOPL homepage SOPL.us to the member login in the only way I can seem to log in is through sing up then member login in area. You have just changed the website main page but during the training portion the about us membership training business so on and so forth is still showing during the instruction phase.. I am no computer wiz but i can figure it out it just takes me a few seconds to navigate to pages. I am very happy with SOPL and not to knock other sites the content is just not there.
