Are Your PMs Leaving Your Outbox?

Postby MrAnybody » 26 Dec 2012 20:17

I've had a couple of instances lately that when I compose a PM to a user it remains in my Outbox without being sent to the point where one remained there so many days that I gave up and deleted it. Real bummer. That was after re-composing it a couple of times over a period of a week or so.

I have the same happen to me today: A PM I composed this morning is still in my Outbox unsent this evening. Signed out and in to see if would shift. No joy.

Anyone else experience this? If not, I need a shoulder to cry on

Squelchtone: Sir, don't mean to bug yer .... and I know you're busy an' all. Just curious ..... did you get my PMs from 13 and 23 December? They did send.

If they are in your outbox that means that they have been sent but they have not yet been read. Once they are read they will be put into your sent messages folder.

 Wow, never would have seen it like that. Thanks for the clarification.

That also clarifies that Squelchy got my messages on a different matter. Cool.

Most forums are like that. In a way, it's good, because you have a chance to delete it before they see it.

Maybe you weren't as clear as you could have been, or maybe you said something you regret - whatever ... if they haven't read it yet, you can still delete it.

I still have a PM sitting in my Outbox from Oct 06, 2008, I wonder when Mr. Picks will read it :) :)
