Old style 001

Can anyone tell me if a fitting template exists for an old style lockwood 001?

Why? Just chuck it and get a new 001? In any case, it's not fire safe as there is no safety release function on the deadlocking feature...

But if you REALLY want to install it, and in doing so risk lives, then Lockwood should be able to help you out.

Here you go.

They are all the same back set. When I install them I cut the 32mm hole then assemble the lock, this way I can still move it around a little to get it to latch nicely, once I get it where I want then I will drill the holes for the screws on the body. You are better off replacing the lock though, the newer 001 are a lot nicer, or even better a 303/ 355.

My only gripe is that it takes forever to re key the inner 001 cylinder and that sometimes the safety release stops working after a re key (even though it's in the correct position etc)...
