If you are new to picking, I strongly suggest you try an easier lock... Much easier. The MT5+ is a high security lock, and is well beyond an inexperienced picker. Also, being a high security lock, it picking it can only be discussed in the advanced forums.

Good luck,

Gordon

I'd recommend as learning curve to pick a Mul-T-lock the following:
If you are absolutely new to lockpicking you have to start with simple pin tumbler locks.
After you are good with them use with simple dimple locks until you can pick them relatively easily too. Then advance through MTL (mulitlock) 7x7 to get the feel, then MTL classic to get the pin-in-pin design and even then if I were to learn to pick an MTL5+ I'd try a simple MT5 before I have a go at the end-game boss :). The simple MT5 hasn't got the sidebar so it much easier to open than the +. That is all for SPP.

Gordon was right, defo not beginner friendly, you are looking at a long time of tedious practice :(. Unfortunately there is no easy way to learn to pick it from scratch. At least I don't know one, if you do please inform me (lol), I even have a lot of trouble with the MTL interactive.
So you are right they are really hard to pick, I think they are nice lock.
To infinity... and beyond!
