Greetings. There's a Yale 840 padlock for sale on eBay. It's described as a high security lock. I've only picked a few Master padlocks. A 140, #3 and a #240. I was thinking of bidding on it but if its too much for a beginner I'll likely let it be. I suppose I could always buy it now and give it a go later on. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

OK Skold, I will attempt to do just that. I am bidding on a number of padlocks at the moment. I'm attempting to get a nice mix as far as difficulty goes.
I tried to get some help in another thread I started as to which padlocks were low, medium and high difficulty but got almost no help at all. You're a very secretive bloody bunch aren't you? I'll just buy some padlocks and tell you if they were difficult or not I guess. Seems like a bassackwards way of doing things but life is like that sometimes. If I get in a pickle I'll give you all a holler.
