7 sylinder. [EDIT: 7 pin euro cylinder binding order ]

Postby Cortec » 14 Mar 2013 7:22

Hello.

I am able to get 5/7 sylinders down, but is it really that important to begin with the furthest away, and work my way closer to me?
Or can I just get them all down in a random order?

It's a european lock, 7 sylinders, and I use southord C 500.

I am truly sorry for not searching the forums, but I am awfully tired.

No: every lock is slightly different, and the order in which it's easiest to pick will be different from one lock to the next (whether it's a 5-pin cylinder or a 7-pin cylinder). You will need to discover what works best for each lock you pick -- and the ordering will usually be random.

Hope that helps!

Thank you very much.

It wasn't the answer I was looking, nor hoping for, but very helpful nonetheless.

That would make it well.. both harder and easier at the same time I guess.

Thank you very mcuh!
