Mastercraft Tool Box Key Codes

Postby gotkeyz » 1 May 2013 21:26

I have a customer that has a mastercraft standing toolbox that has the code stamped on the face of the lock. I was able to easily impression 2 of the 3 locks but the 3rd one wont give. It has a number on it but I cant remember the series info for it. I know it should have a letter in front of the numbers but cannot find any info in my keycode program or on google. Anyone know what it could be???

thanks,
Rob

Is it a wafer lock? A lot of the lesser expensive tool boxes use wafer locks. Even the older Snap-On tool boxes used them, though now they use tubular locks.

If it is a wafer lock, pick it open, take it out, and then make a key. Heck, you could even key it the same.

Good luck,

Gordon
