First homemade rake

Made this bogota-esque rake. I know it isn't the prettiest thing in the world, still needs a lot of finish work. Tried it out on a couple of my practice locks, a kwikset deadbolt and a couple pad locks. First try on the deadbolt, it literally opened in 3 or 4 seconds. Second time wasn't as fast but still worked. Made fast work of the padlocks as well.

What do you guys think?

It looks black in the middle, but that is just a shadow being cast on it.

Very nice. A lot of sanding and polishing to go, but then you will be astonished at how much better than it is already.

Thanks guys. It took some time and attention to detail, but it works really well. I will have to get it my next one all polished up and post it on here for you to see.

Nice rake! You said you made it out of a thicker windshield wiper, did you use an angle grinder to shape it?

Sorry for the long delay. To shape it I actually used a dremel tool and chainsaw files.

I just love the talent some people have. I have seen some fantastic picks and tension tools. Made out of things I would have never thought to use. Good job. Jon
