Practice Padlock or Mortise?

they are both the same $ and both 6 pins each that come with security pins. one is an American padlock and the other is a Corbin with i think an L4 keyway (correct me if im wrong). which should i get is one easier to hold or just better? Is one keyway better to practice on then another?

I would buy the padlock, at least you can use it for something later on.
