I would like to bend some wire for warded locks. The wire I found is about 1 mm thick and does not bend a lot.
Do you have suggestions for bending it for European warded locks? How long to bend, bend twice, etc.

Use a thicker wire (3mm, 4mm) or thick nail, bend it using a vice and hammer; hammer the front part flat, so that it becomes more wide. See http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dietrich_(Werkzeug)
