Would you suggest to add foam covers onto the pick handles?

I have some generic picks, perhaps from HPC or Majestic.
These are picks with two aluminium plates attached to the side of the pick itself.

Now I could get some foam covers for the pick handles.
Would you suggest to use these foam covers, they are slipped onto the pick handle itself.
Would it give less feedback or more?

It is sort of a dense foam giving a bit of flexibility.

Absolutely not. It would kill the feedback.
To get good feedback, the harder, the better.

I am not sure if it is available in Europe, but if you want a nice handle that has a good grip (even with oily fingers) with no feedback attenuation, see if you can find a bottle of Plasti Dip and give them a dip or two in that.

I find it comes in real handy in preventing tamper tantrums where I am trying to pop open an old corroded up foreign padlock after giving a good squirt of Boeshield T-9 and am working with crud coming out of the lock onto my fingers and sweat dripping down the inside of my glasses. The little extra grip it adds to the handle of the pick, for me, is just right.

On my smaller picks I have used the outer of 550 paracord covered with heatshrink tubing.

I also have the HPC spares without the handles. I was think of laying down a few pieces of wiper blades steel either side, glued in place with super glue and then covered with heatshrink.
