I gotta say, that's one of the biggest wives tales I know, that people dont shop online because it's not safe. I've been buying and selling on the internet for 15 years and have never had an issue. I had one friend who got their Amazon.com account hacked once and they got her card number, but I think she had a very simple account password like "password1"
ebay and Paypal are very safe, my Paypal is linked right to my bank account, so I have high faith in it.
If you are still weary of buying stuff online, I suggest getting over it and just buying this key, otherwise if you have a ton of free time, you'll need to learn how to pick this lock. It is a pin tumbler, so a little harder to pick than a wafer lock, such as the kind you'd find on a cheap tool box or cheap file cabinet.
If you contact that seller (you'll have to make an ebay account), sometimes they'll still accept a good old fashioned USPS money order, which is the way we paid for things on ebay before Paypal came along. never hurts to ask.
What brand/model of pick set are you using and in that pick set which pick shape are you using? a half diamond or S-rake would work well on that lock. Sentry safes (fire proof boxes) are crap in general and the locks on those are typically easy to pick wafer locks (but that statement varies by model)
You have the advantage of looking at that ebay ad I linked to see what the key cuts look like, which will tell you how far to lift each pin. Or just insert the S rake, apply medium tension clockwise, and pull the pick out of the lock real fast. I have come to know this is called "zipping" by many folks who pick locks for fun.
good luck,
