help identifying cutaway locks

Postby Aerionix » 29 Jul 2015 0:09

Hi there, I'm new to the hobby and excited to start practicing. I received my first set today, the sparrow tuxedo night school kit. Apparently a decent set and includes 3 cutaway locks. A standard, serrated, and a spool. Problem is I have no idea which lock is which and they aren't marked in any way that I can tell. If anyone else has this set, could you maybe tell me a couple defining traits of these locks so I can tell them apart? Thanks much. Nice to meet you all btw.

And as is so often the case, I answered my own question with the best possible reply. Do your own legwork. Found a reference pic and got them straight in my head now. Only reason I'm leaving the post up is its still real nice to meet you folks. So thanks anyway :)

I always enjoy when people do their own legwork :D we need more of that around here.

Here's that pic for everyone else curious how to identify which lock is which:
