Agreed :D .

Make sure you have a plug follower (anything around 0.50" should work), and read up on cylinder disassembly (so, so many threads on that here). You should be golden.

Looks good to me. This can be a fun practice lock too. Shipping is forever like you forgot all about it seven or ten weeks later. http://www.dhgate.com/wholesale/practice+lock.html

I'm pretty sure DIY stores in the UK have reasonably priced uPVC door euro profile cylinders as well as Yale and ERA rim cylinders for sale, as well as generic rim cylinders. I don't remember the generic manufacturer at the moment, but I know it's in one of the older threads.

What taught me the most in my opinion is buying the set of locks that have a 2pin, 3 pin, 4pin, 5pin, and 6 pin... all keyed different. It was a nice progression that didn't leave me feeling down... You will likely be able to get through with all of them within a week, then you might get into some spool pins like a master lock 140 which contains 3 spool pins. Then you can go to a masterlock lockout lock which has a mix of serrated/spools and is a 6pin(maybe 7?) after that you can attack whatever you want, you now have a solid foundation. Make sure to diversify too, a deadbolt is going to require a different tension/feel than a padlock

Most likely it has a cylinder that you can remove. That is all you need for practicing anyway.
