I Need Some Lock Info (picking and purchasing)

Postby Locks+Picks_Happy » 5 Aug 2015 17:57

I found this article on another forum and I was wondering what your thoughts on it were.

http://united-locksmith.net/blog/4-lock ... -be-picked

It says that no one has picked them yet, and someone was saying that the MCS has been picked (just the cylinder) I was wondering if anyone could verify that.

I am really interested in these things cause they all look like a unique challenge, but I am not good enough yet to be a trail blazer on this stuff. If anyone can upload their methods for picking these (video or pictures would be great). I just want a method I can try, and some ideas for what tools I might need to make.

The Shi-He Chi-Me U-lock really interests me cause I am not sure what to do on a blind keyway (I guess multiple keyways). Someone said I could contact Lockman28 to get one. Has anyone bought from him? Is he reliable?

Thanks!

As far as I know, no one has picked the MCS. The shi-whatever lock doesn't have multiple keyways.
Lockman is on youtube, and you can see his locks there. He's fifth season on ebay, and marduk28 on another forum.

I have ordered for Lockman28 in the past, he was quick to ship and the lock was well packaged and exactly like it was pictured . :D
I would deal with him again in a second.

Lockman28 is great.

I would love to get a HYT serpentine lock. I have been thinking about a flexible bump key for that one.

Thank you so much for your input. He seems cool, but you can never be to careful.

I thought that it sounded to good to be true (in regards to the MCS).

And flexible bump key sounds crazy cool! Would it be an epoxy or rubber? I would love to see any picks when you get around to making it.
