Bogota flat ti vs reg bogota ti picks

Postby 15Fire » 4 Oct 2015 15:02

Hey guys looking at buying a set of Bogota picks. From the info that I've gathered these seem to be the best picks. My question is which are better the bogota ti picks or the flat version? Also with the flat version is the back that is shaped like a tension wrench to big/ wide to fit into some locks?

Thanks.

Which picks are the best will vary from picker to picker. The Bogota picks are quite good, and used correctly, can open a surprising number of locks.

Which is better? Well, if you want something to keep in your wallet, either will fit. Have a handmade set from Raimundo in my wallet. But a flat set would be.. well... flatter.

Some locks work better with a wider or taller tension wrench. Some prefer thinner or shorter. There are probably more tension wrenches than picks in my pick kit, for exactly that reason.

I keep a set of Dangerfields bogota in my wallet they are small and slim and I can use one as a tension tool.

In my kit I tend to use the serenity picks it is a decent size for my Euro Cylinders and it is thin and light with great feedback.
