Picking a loose cylinder

I have a Commercial Master Lock No.3 with a loose cylinder in that it will slide 1/8 of inch into the lock. No matter what I try I cannot pick it. I've been picking since this summer and have a small collection of Masters, Yale, Brinks and Chinese knock offs that I can easily SPP or rake open, so I feel I'm pretty good for a beginner. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Yes sir I did. The pins move freely. I think if the cylinder moves back and forth like it does, it may be hard to line up the drivers into the bible. Am I right? I do not have a key for this lock.

It's good for you to have a difficult lock to pick, adds character
Regardless of the loose cylinder it should still be pickable

Success. I slowed down and lightened the tension and viola it popped open from SPP. I was not able to easily open it unless I used a Bogota.
