U-Haul padlock

i can't pick this u-haul padlock and I've tried every technique does anybody have any tips?

Could you provide a photo of the lock? It is quite difficult to provide advice without knowing any details of the lock.

If you have a vise, you can put the padlock in it so the shackle is being squeezed towards the body, this will remove the
locking dog pressure from the keyway. It is tough without a vise, you need a third hand

it's easier if it isn't on the back of a truck!

show us a photo of it and we can figure out which model it is. Have you ever picked a lock before? what tools are you using? Please provide some more details. And to upload a photo, go to http://imgur.com or tinypic.com and then Paste the picture link in your reply.

The U-Haul locks I have seen have been rebranded Abus locks, and they do have security pins.

My guess is the original poster wanted an immediate answer to help him break into something. When he didn't get it instantly, he left. He hasn't been logged into lp101 since 2 minutes after he posted his original question. Locking the thread.
