You're comparing apples and oranges.

neither of those. Let us know what you are trying to accomplish (hobby picker, locksmith, IT guy red team, etc) and which country/continent you are from and we can recommend something better than either of those sets. If you're dead set on one of those and you want that see thru padlock as well, then the noza tec one.

I live in Texas. I'm trying learn physical security and I got interested in pick locking when I was doing a pentest with a friend of mine into a building.

In that case, I'd recommend this Southord set: https://www.lockpickshop.com/MPXS-08.html Has all the proper tools to get started and several tension wrenches. That site is the forum sponsor, type in coupon code PICK13 and save 10% off your purchase.

Once you get good with that set and want to get some nicer tools that fit into tighter/smaller keyways, get a set of Just Picks from Peterson, they're really nice: https://www.lockpickshop.com/JP-SS.html

I would honestly stay away from all the cheap import stuff on Amazon and ebay, they look like nice normal picks but are poor quality.

welcome to the hobby!
