Corbin skeleton keys-P series

Postby gademsky » 19 Sep 2016 14:52

I have been collecting keys and trying on doors. I live in Buffalo, NY and there are many older homes here that use skeleton keys (inside doors). I have collected a series of keys that are marked Corbin with numbers on them P1, P2....seems the internet says they go from P1-P12. I have most of them now.

Is there one key shape that will open the entire series of locks? and are there any good links that talk about this series of locks and keys?

When I was looking for some Q series Corbin keys thats where I went.

ebay is great for finding the more common P keys, I'm not sure if one of them is a master to open all of them.
